Having trained as an actress, I worked for many years in theatre, radio, film and television. I also co-founded one of the first co-operative actors’ agencies.

I won a place on an Arvon course, in a competition run by South West Arts, and gradually changed careers, from actress to author.

Having had some success with poems and stories, I was accepted on to the Bath Spa University course in Creative Writing and achieved my MA in creative writing there.

I’ve recently won first prize in an international competition for monologues and second prize in a poetry competition.

I’m to be the featured writer in this autumn’s edition of ‘Writing Magazine’

I am currently looking for an agent to represent me, especially with my latest novel; ‘Deep Time’.

 Meanwhile, I am co-writing a comedy series for radio and writing a new, humorous novel about the wife of a celebrity chef.
